Green Salad with Rio Mare Tuna, Red Apple, Carrots and Walnuts

Ingredients

  • Mixed green salad 100g
  • Rio Mare Tuna in Olive Oil 240g
  • Red Apple 1
  • Carrots A few
  • Lemon 1
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 40g
  • Salt and Pepper To taste

Process

1. Peel the carrots, wash them thoroughly, and using a vegetable peeler, cut them into long strips.

2. Place them in a bowl of ice water so they curl, then drain them.

3. Thinly slice the apple and season it with lemon juice to prevent browning.

4. Put the slices in a salad bowl, add the drained carrots, the salad, the walnuts, and the drained Rio Mare tuna.

5. Dress everything with olive oil, salt, and pepper, toss well, and serve immediately.
